Real fire - By using a 'clean burn' gas burner training rig on our fire extinguisher courses Saffire (UK) can bring safe repeatable fire training. Thereby, Providing your company's fire extinguisher training without environmental pollution.

Normally, all coures commence at 0930 and full day courses end at 1630 Hrs. However, we will train your staff at a time to suit you. If a number of sessions are required to cover all of your staff, we would be delighted to discuss your most cost effective solution. Perhaps to juggle our very competitive half and full daily packages to fit your particular shift work patterns.

Target Audience
All members of staff nominated by an organisation or company to fulfil the requirements of the Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations 1997 or as an aid to providing information in a safe place of work.

Course Aims
To assist nominated employers by providing necessary information, instruction and training as required by fire legislation.

Also, an awareness of the dangers from fires, how to deal with a small outbreak and the correct evacuation procedures in a fire emergencyAlso, to assist employers provide necessary training as required by as required by Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations.

Managers who have a responsibility for ensuring that legislative requirements and fire safety measures, including fire evacuation, for a company or organisation are effectively maintained and monitored. Also, for managers having similar responsibility in a premises or group of buildings.

Course Aims
To give participants an awareness of the measures installed in their premises, an understanding of the dangers of fire and how to deal with a small outbreak. The requirements of the current fire safety legislation and how it affects their premises. Also, the confidences to discuss fire related matters and maintain a safe place of work. The course will include a video presentation, with a theoretical and practical session on the identification and 'Hands On' use of fire extinguishers. This course requires satisfactory completion of a written assessment.

SF05 - ED Observed fire evacuation drill*

Duration
2 hours

Target Audience
Employers, or persons in control of a workplace, who have the responsibility to ensure that conditions of the premises legal requirements are complied with and that evacuation procedures are identified and understood.

Drill Aims & Objectives
The primary aim is to ensure that staff, during a fire emergency, is confident of their actions. Also, to give all staff awareness and understanding of fire safety measures installed in their workplace.

Following the evacuation drill, a full debrief will be given to designated staff and aspects of the drill commented upon. A full written report of the drill will then be prepared for management.
